Arinsal is part of the Vallnord ski area and is set at an altitude of between 1550m and 2560m. Situated close to the Spanish border, this Andorran resort is as well known for its après ski as it is for its skiing and is ideal for families, couples and groups.
The resort caters for all skiing types, from wobbly beginners to the thrill seeking advanced. Although not actually linked, the Arinsal Pal ski area shares a lift pass with Ordino Arcalis making up the Vallnord ski area. Beginners and intermediates can enjoy a variety of runs in Arinsal and Pal, but skiers looking for more of a challenge can go the short journey by bus to the Ordino Arcalis.
Snowboarding starters will love this resort, with its perfect terrain for newbies. The more advanced snowboarder, though, will prefer nearby Pal or the snowboard park in Arinsal itself.
The nightlife when you’re skiing in Arinsal is lively and relatively inexpensive. A plentiful supply of bars and clubs will keep the most active going well into the early hours. It also has a wide selection of traditional restaurants serving a combination of Spanish, French and international cuisine.
Other must dos on your Arinsal ski holiday include skidooing, snowshoeing, tobogganing, dog sledding and ski biking. While those who crave something less energetic will enjoy the Caldea Water Spa, with “Roman Baths” a mere 9 kilometres away.
A vibrant atmosphere, a great range of ski runs, competitively priced restaurants and lots of off-piste activities provide the perfect winter holiday mix.
