The real beauty of Mayrhofen is the 625km of ski piste all on one lift pass making the resort very consumer friendly. Just beyond the end of the valley you will find the Hintertux Glacier with a further 100km of ski runs. Here you will find a great selection of restaurants and pizzerias as well as bars hosting live music all winter long making for a great winter getaway. There is a valley steam train connecting to neighbouring resorts.
