Ciudadela is an old and picturesque port town known as ‘Vella i Bella’, on the west coast of Menorca.

The bustling town, with a population of almost 30,000, is steeped in Spanish history, with historic architecture and a wonderful atmosphere. With a vast choice of shops, restaurants, nightlife and sightseeing, Ciudadela holidays offer more than just a sunny break.

The town’s harbour is the smallest port on the Mediterranean, but it is lively and energetic and brimming with bars and restaurants. It’s also the closest point on the island to neighbouring Majorca, which can be easily reached by ferry.

Restaurants of all description can be found here, particularly down at the port, with them offering all of the island’s specialties of fish and seafood.
