Punta Prima is a quiet and secluded beach resort on the southern most tip of Menorca that is popular with both couples and families. As one of the oldest resorts on the island, it has a very traditional feel, yet it is still modern enough to satisfy visitors.

The sprawling sandy beach, surrounded by pretty countryside and sand dunes, is at the heart of a Punta Prima holiday. While rocks lie at the eastern end of the beach, the warm shallow waters are ideal for swimming, snorkelling and sailing. There are plenty of activities both on and off the beach, with the surrounding area perfect for scenic walks and mini-golf and tennis is also available.

Excursions can be made to the nearby island of Illa del Aire, which is a protected home to a unique species and has a spectacular lighthouse. Restaurants, beach bars, souvenir shops and cafes add to the vibrancy of the resort.

While there is not much happening at night here, with only quiet bars and one nightclub, Punta Prima is also very close to the capital city of Mahon, where a vibrant nightlife and excellent shopping can be found.
