S’Algar is a very popular family resort situated on the south-east coast of Menorca, close to the capital city of Mahon. A quiet and relaxing resort away from the hustle and bustle, it is the perfect place to unwind.

The resort does not have a beach, but sunbathing can take place on the rocks by the water, or the man made beach on the sea front. A natural beach is only a short walk away in neighbouring resort Cala Alcaufa. The beach is sheltered, secluded and ideal for children and also surrounded by lively bars and restaurants.

S’Algar town is charming, with a sprinkling of friendly mini-markets, shops and inviting restaurants serving traditional Spanish dishes. Nightlife in the town is quiet, with only one club and a couple of laid-back bars relied upon to provide late night fun.

Holidays in S’Algar are perfect for sports lovers too, thanks to a famous dive school with scuba-diving, windsurfing, jet-skiing and water skiing. Lawn bowling is also popular in the area with seven pitches on offer.
