Santo Tomas is a small, peaceful resort found on the western coast of Menorca. It sits quietly between the popular destinations of Son Bou and Cala Galdana .

Holidays in Santo Tomas are relaxed and slowly paced; a complete contrast to the more traditional resorts on the island. This purpose built sunny haven is blessed with two long stretches of sandy beach - ideal for picnics and family days out. Add to that a tree-lined promenade, with an assortment of bars and restaurants, and you have the perfect family holiday base.

Things really don’t get hectic here. The one single street of the resort has a collection of shops either side, selling the usual holiday essentials and mementoes. Nightlife is sedate and mostly hotel based, but Santo Tomas does have a smattering of small local bars. However, as there are no nightclubs, the relaxed, low-key family vibe is 24 hours.

Activities are generally only available at the hotels and apartment complexes, though the beaches boast a number of watersports. When you crave something different, Cala Galdana and Son Bou nearby can offer more variety. Or perhaps further away in historical Mahon and Ciudadela?
