Amadores is a quiet resort on the southwest of Gran Canaria, next to the popular resort of Puerto Rico.

With a beautiful horse-shoe shaped bay, the resort is very popular for family holidays. The beach, known as ‘the lovers’ beach, has imported sand and clear blue water and never gets too crowded. The historic fishing port of Puerto Mogan is also close, where fresh seafood can be sampled and the bustling harbour can be explored.

Holidays in Amadores must include a visit to Gran Canaria’s natural wonder, the Dunes of Maspalomas, just 10 kilometres away. The wind-sculpted sand dunes are breathtaking and a perfect place to complete your holiday by taking a camel safari.
