Callao Salvaje is a small village on the southwest coast of Tenerife, near the large resort of Playa de las Americas.

The former fishing village sits adjacent to the island of La Gomera and has wonderful sea views. Callao Salvaje is home to a small pebble beach, where diving excursions are popular. There are many rocky coves found along the beach and golden sands of other resorts are nearby.

Near the bright lights of Playa de las Americas, Callao Salvaje holidays are ideal for those wanting a base near one of Tenerife’s main resorts. The resort itself, however, has a healthy selection of shops, bars and restaurants, all with a welcoming feel. 

Callao Salvaje is a very convenient base from which to explore the rest of Tenerife. The Teide National Park is just north of the resort, while a number of lively resorts, with vibrant atmospheres, are nearby.
