Puerto Santiago is a quiet and peaceful resort on the southwest coast of Tenerife offering peaceful beaches and an unhurried atmosphere.

Once a small fishing village, this town, set on a hillside with steep picturesque streets, has a calm atmosphere. The oldest part of the town sits at the very top of the hill and offers a wide variety of traditional restaurants and Spanish tapas bars. It is also full of charming shops and bars and has a much calmer nightlife than other resorts in Tenerife.

Puerto de Santiago’s beach is small, but attractive, with volcanic black sand, watersports and a dive school. Tennis, squash and bowls can be found in the resort, while the surrounding countryside is ideal for scenic walks. Boat trips from Puerto Santiago are a fantastic way to get up close to the famous cliffs of neighbouring resort Los Gigantes.
