This is a cosmopolitan city, famous for its mile long palm tree lined pedestrianised promenade with lively open air cafes, tavernas and restaurants, and its long sandy beach, yacht marina and port. Here you may also visit the castle, the salt lake, the ancient town of Kition, and some very interesting museums. But what Larnaca is most famous for is its fantastic shopping!
