La Plagne covers a vast area in the Savoie French Alps, spanning between 1800 to 2050m in height. A purpose built resort, it comprises no less than ten ski centres, including Plagne 1800, Belle Plagne and Plagne Soleil. Each village enjoys self-sufficiency and offers all the usual ski holiday essentials. As La Plagne is linked to Les Arcs (making up the Paradiski) it presents some formidable terrain for skiers of all abilities.

Beginners skiing in La Plagne can enjoy a good selection of gentle slopes, before progressing to the blues and greens of the area. It’s the intermediate skier’s Holy Grail too, where motorway skiing and long runs are fairly standard. And, Champagny from La Grande Rochette and Glacier de Bellecôte present opportunities not to be missed. More experienced skiers will be hard pressed to cover all the areas open to them. Powder skiing down to Les Coches, white knuckle blacks on the Bellecôte glacier and the challenging 7km Aiguille Rouge, to name but a few.

Snowboarders will appreciate all that’s on offer to them in La Plagne. Col du Nant and the 5 boardercross 'freestyle zones' are the perfect playgrounds for experienced boarders.

Nightlife in La Plagne is centred around the bars, cafés and restaurants of each village. For more variety, you can village hop, as most of the late bars run buses to take revelers back home - but check first!

Other things you can do on your La Plagne ski holiday include ice skating, ice tower climbing, skidooing and bowling. If your preference is for something more sedate, then check out what’s on at the cinema, or go for a swim.
