Les Menuires, sitting at a height of 1815m, enjoys an excellent snow record and benefits from being lift connected to Val Thorens as well. This purpose built French resort lies at the heart of the Trois Vallées ski area and has no end of slopes to suit all abilities.

Beginners will be bowled over by the number of wide, gentle slopes for them to start out on. With lifts radiating in every direction, intermediates have an even greater area, with an abundance of suitable runs in the Meribel Valley, Val Thorens and Mottaret. This area is truly the advanced skier’s paradise. Choose from the Glaciers of Peclet and Chavière, the mogul run on the Cîme de Caron black run, or, for some real hair-raising stuff, go off piste down to Val Thorens

Snowboarders will be thrilled by the terrain on offer to them at Les Menuires. Newbies have plenty of scope on the easy runs leading back to the resort. While there’s even more potential for the experienced on the wide open pistes, the Boardercross course and the park near Val Thorens

Nightlife on a Les Menuires ski holiday can be chilled or busy – you decide. With a range of bars catering to all requirements and two nightclubs for those determined to burn the candle at both ends! There’s a wide range of restaurants to choose from, so foodies won’t be disappointed either!

Alternative activities are plentiful when skiing in Les Menuires, with. ice-skating, snow shoeing and rubber ring tobogganing on offer. If you’d prefer to stay indoors though, swimming, the fun park and the fitness centre are all possibilities, or maybe a trip to the cinema.
