Moraitika is a peaceful and laid-back village on the east coast of Corfu that has managed to retain its traditional Greek atmosphere.

It consists of the original village of Ano Moraitika that sits on a hill, surrounded by the newer parts of the resort. The main promenade is the centre of the resort, brimming with bars, restaurants and tavernas. Holidays in Moraitika appeal to everyone, families, couples and young people, all wanting plenty of entertainment and a sandy beach.

The resort lies just a few hundred metres away from the quiet, but popular, stretch of golden sand, which is lapped by clear water. Boasting a dive centre and numerous watersports, it’s also lined by a sprinkling of bars and eateries.

Old Ano Moraitika offers a change of scenery, with narrow lanes and an old church, while Roman ruins can be found dotted around the area. Corfu Town, only 12 miles away, is a perfect excursion with plenty of sightseeing and shopping. Nightlife is lively enough, but a wider choice can also be found in Corfu Town.

An ideal holiday resort with a glorious beach, it also offers a flavour of Greek history and flavour.
