Roda is a modern beach resort on the north coast of Corfu at the end of an enormous bay.

The resort was once just a small fishing village where narrow lanes and some buildings serve as reminders of that time. Holidays in Roda are popular among families and couples looking for lively entertainment combined with a pleasant beach.

Roda beach runs for just under a mile alongside the resort and is a mixture of sand and pebble. It’s known for its safe and shallow water making it ideal for swimming and watersports. Away from the beach, visitors have a choice of two nearby waterparks, ‘Aqualand’ which is the largest in Europe, or the smaller, but just as enjoyable, ‘Hydropolis’.

The surrounding hilly countryside is perfect for exploring by foot or bike and trails can be taken through olive groves or along the coastline. Horse riding is also a great way to see the beauty of the area first hand. The resort doesn’t have the liveliest nightlife on the island, but it’s far from boring, with a range of bars, restaurants and clubs.

Roda provides holiday fun for all the family, from the lovely beach to the lively village.
