Kefalos is situated on the far south west of Kos, perched on a hillside overlooking a bay.

The resort is a unique place to explore, with traditional Greek charm combined with the amenities and the beach of a typical beach resort. It’s picturesque with whitewashed houses, narrow lanes and old-style tavernas and is home to a mediaeval castle and famous windmill.

Numerous beaches are part of Kefalos holidays. Paradise beach is a favourite among families, with shallow water and long stretches of sand, perfect for sunbathing. Kamari beach is popular for snorkelling, while Limnionas beach is quiet and has a pretty harbour. Several islands lie off the coast and they can be easily reached by boat.

The resort has a laid back pace, with relaxed tavernas and bars offering delicious food and music. However, there are clubs to dance the night away found down at the beachfront. It is also a fantastic place to explore Greek history and the ‘Aspri Perta’ Caves, with prehistoric relics, will take visitors back to ancient times.

Peaceful and picturesque, but with a lively nightlife, resorts don’t get much better than Kefalos.
