Bugibba is quite a recently developed Maltese holiday resort, sitting very close to the prehistoric town of St. Paul’s Bay.

The resort does not have a typical beach but it does have large flat rocks that act as great platforms for sun-bathing. The warm, clear and deep Mediterranean waters make the coast popular with divers.

Back on dry land, there is plenty for sight-seers to take in around the resort of Bugibba. St. Paul’s Bay and much of the island is a treasure trove of churches, megalithic monuments and ancient catacombs.

The buzzing central square is where much of the action takes place on a Bugibba holiday. Here, visitors can spend relaxed evenings in one of the many friendly al fresco restaurants or bars. The nightlife here caters to all tastes – with karaoke and bingo for good old-fashioned fun, and casinos and nightclubs for a more sophisticated time.
