Santa Eulalia is an attractive fishing inlet, lying just east of the Algarve’s tourist centre. The long beach is regarded as one of the best in the area, while its chic accommodation is surrounded by an expanse of landscaped gardens. 

Evenings in Santa Eulalia are relatively modest as it has just a few beach bars and entertainment is hotel-based. For wilder nights out, Albufeira’s endless stream of restaurants, bars and clubs are just a short taxi journey away.

Shopping and sightseeing trips to nearby Faro city are a must on a Santa Eulalia holiday. Visitors should also try and take in a safari tour around the area’s beautiful countryside or a river boat cruise along the Ria Formosa canals.

This small resort benefits from its close proximity to the nightlife and facilities of Albufeira, but acts as a more peaceful and particularly scenic base.
