Mojacar is placed along Spain’s south east coast and is part of the lovely Costa Almeria which benefits from a sunny climate almost all year round.

The area offers around 9 kilometres of sandy beach which is easily reached from Mojacar village. Watersports enthusiasts, children and sunbathers will all appreciate this coastal resort.  

This quaint Moorish village sits high atop a hill overlooking the beach and combines both Spanish and Arabic traditions. Its maze of narrow streets and steps will reveal rustic shops, bars and cafes and is the perfect place to wander around on a lazy afternoon.

The nearby Tabernas Desert is a popular destination for a day-trip on a Mojacar holiday. Movie buffs will be especially interested as several Spaghetti Westerns were filmed here in the past. Two Wild West amusement parks have continued on with the cowboy theme, which children will love.
