Islantilla is a modern, purpose-built resort, lying along Spain’s beautiful Costa de la Luz. This mostly unspoilt part of the southern coast sits very close to the Portuguese border and to the Algarve. It enjoys 300 days of sunshine per year, so it also makes a great destination for a winter holiday.

The resort’s beautiful shoreline stretches for 2 kilometres and is enveloped by sand dunes and pine trees. This is where much of the activity will take place on an Islantilla holiday. The wide Blue Flag beach is the ideal place to soak up the sun and is backed by a lovely palm-lined promenade. The Atlantic’s crisp, clear waters wash this coastal area and provide ideal conditions for windsurfing and scuba-diving.

Although the resort has been recently developed, great care was taken to ensure that Islantilla’s natural beauty and sense of Andalusian culture remained intact.
