Estepona lies along Spain’s Costa del Sol, not far from the bustling resort of Marbella. It is an Andalusian town that retains an authentic feel and has not been overrun with mass tourism. It does, however, offer all the facilities that you would expect from a modern resort.

An imposing bull ring sits in the centre of Estepona. Animal lovers shouldn’t worry – nowadays the ring mostly hosts concerts. Also around this area is the sparkling marina, which has a superb selection of bars and restaurants.

The main beach is at La Rada – a 2.5 kilometre long stretch of warm sands and shimmering waters. It is located right in the centre of town so beach-lovers won’t have far to travel to get their daily fix of sunshine.

Holidays in Estepona are still relatively unheard of, so there is an authentic and relaxed feel throughout the resort.
