Kusadasi is the biggest and most popular of the Turkish resorts, situated on the North East coast of the country. In the centre of the resort resembles an old ancient fortress that is now lined with shops selling carpets, leather and jewellery. The harbour and castle are a hotspot for cruise lines. Eating out is very reasonable and you have a good choice of restaurants and pizzerias. When night falls the music starts and continues into the early hours. While in Kusadasi a visit to the ancient Ephesus where excavating is still ongoing. Take a daily run boat trip where you will spend the day at sea and enjoy a BBQ and some snorkelling. Kusadasi has two major beaches, the most popular being Ladies Beach.
