Gran Santa ponsa

I have stayed here a number of times, and found the place to be clean, the staff friendly and the pool entertainment for the kids very good (Thanks to Mary). The GSP Apts have been open for many years and the rooms have seen a lot of traffic; they’re basic, but clean and have all you need for a pool/beach family holiday. 2 things to note* The tiles on the corridors leading from the rooms can get very slippery when wet, from the rain and from people coming back from the pool wet. The supermarket across the road take deliveries early some mornings, so there can be some noise if your apartment is to the front of the building.

GranSanta Apartments family orientated

The location of these apartments could not be better. You are close to the seafront. Directly across the road from a large supermarket which, price wise , is very reasonable and a l0 minute walk from the more lively side of Santa Ponsa. There are some fantastic cafes and restaurants a very short walk away The quality of food from the poolside snack bar is very good. The pool is great. I thought the bar prices were a little steep..a bottle of Bulmers €4.50 as compared to €5.00 for a pint of Bulmers/Magners in The Caledonian Pub in the Spanish Square. Overall I would most certainly return to the Gran Santa Ponsa again. I found the reception and bar staff very responsive when you tried a bit of Spanish. The residents lounge is very spacious and comfortable.
