Wonderful break away at the Baobab.

Stayed for a lovely and relaxing 5 nights in the Baobab. We were very lucky with weather, just the way I like it. it was warm but not over bearing and just a little chilly in the evenings. Thee was great outside entertainment in the evenings. The rooms and bathrooms were huge and modern with really unusual African themed décor. You did have to pay to use the safe in the rooms which I think should have been free considering it is a 5 star hotel. It was quite a long walk from our room to the reception, maybe 3 or 5 mins, so we had to make sure to have everything with us before we were going anywhere! The breakfast, which was from 7 – 11 am if I remember correctly, was nice with a great buffet choice and with eggs and pancakes made to order. There are two sittings of dinner – we chose to dine at 8.30. The food was fresh and the meat was cooked in front of you. Our children are grown up, but I noticed there was a kids club and a special enclosed pool. This hotel has a real special quality to it, with gorgeous surroundings and grounds.
