Christmas holiday

I stayed in the Green Park Apartments 5 years ago with a group of college friends. There was 10 in our party and we went at Christmas time. The hotel was fine, not particularly amazing but you get what you pay for. It was very handy as the pub and shop were at the end of our corridor. It is chilly at this time of year so bring some warm clothes. I would say it is a lively place during the peak season but it was quite when we were there. Everywhere within walking distance. We had no problems around cleanliness and out stay was enjoyable. The pool is nice although cold in winter. Lots of sunbeds. They also provided extra blankets... we needed them!

In the heart of the Irish centre. If you want a good nights sleep this may not be the place but not because as you may think. The nightlife around has quietened somewhat. The biggest threat is noisy neighbours which u have no control over. Like most apartments in GC the walls are thin. This can happen anywhere. Outside of that, nothing wrong with it if you want a cheap place to stay. Clean rooms and nice pool. The location is the key here.
