Pleasantly Surprised!

Had such a good week in Apartamentos Montemar. I was a bit nervous before I went because of a couple of reviews online, but I’m glad I gave the place a go myself. I ended up having 10 days of sun and relaxation! It was just what I needed. The complex doesn’t have loads of different things to do like fancy cocktail bars or wonderful nightly entertainment. However, it is great for a no fuss, basic and simple stay. It’s in a quiet enough location, not really near bars or shopping areas, it is not too far to walk. E.g. 5 mins to the Kasbah and 10 mins to the Yumba. The swimming pool is fairly shallow, but fine for a dip. If you are sensitive to noise, you might be a bit annoyed by the road that is nearby. The staff were polite and helpful. I think I will be returning as the Montemar suits me so well.
