Punta Jablillo is cheap and cheerful

This had its good and bad points. The apartment was large and spacious but some of the lights didn’t work and the storage fittings weren’t great. Our balcony was gorgeous and the grounds were really lush. There were 2 pools which were kept really clean. The sauna wasn’t working though which was disappointing as I have a bad back and was looking forward to a nice steam. We found the receptionists to be very helpful. If we needed information on the area or bus timetables they looked it up and printed it off for us. They also arranged for repairmen to come and fix the lights that weren’t working. It’s expensive to rent things. A hairdryer is €10 for the week. You have to pay to rent a kettle too although we didn’t bother and just boiled water in a saucepan. All in all it’s cheap and cheerful.
