Great little place!

Apartments were basic but that was to be expected with it being a 2 star and after all we didn’t pay much for our week stay! I don’t understand people who complain about it being basic, at the end of the day if you want luxury book a 4 star and dig deeper into your pockets! Apartments big and spacious and cleaned daily, didn’t really have a problem with ants as reported in some reviews but I suppose that depended on which rooms you stayed in. Location was spot on, not in the centre of all the nightlife but not too far away to walk. We walked to nissi beach from the carina on our first day which was about a 20 min walk but felt much longer in the searing heat! After that we went to the beach which was about a 5 min walk from the apartments, very convenient! Bar staff at Carina were very friendly, never stopped once, always pouring drinks, making food. the snacks on offer were great, burgers, pizzas, sandwiches, jackets, salads etc. we had a full english breakfast every morning which was lovely and all for 4 euros each, cant complain at that! Drinks prices at the apartments were reasonable, however we did take advantage of the happy hour between 7-10 for cocktails! Only 2 euros!
