I was told by the travel agency we could use the pool at Rosamar 2 but this arrangement has been discontinued even though advertisements are still publishing it as available. Nearest pool you can use is quarter of a mile away. Music is banned in the area so other then eating and walking around looking at the few street traders there is nothing to do except take a taxi to Albuferia for a bit of night life. Arrange a price prior to getting into taxi as some drivers take the longest route and charge 20 euro one way. There are 3 English speaking pubs. A lot of sand blows into your eyes and hair as there’s a massive development of the sea walk footpaths going on. Taxis cannot be flagged down. This hotel is quiet. No overhead light in the bedroom. Air conditioning is good. The "kitchen" is behind curtains which get in the way when cooking. The kettle is very old and not all the sockets work. Hotel is near the beach which is roasting and you cannot shelter under cliffs as the cliff faces are very unsafe. I wouldn't waste my money going here again. No entertainment at night in the hotel and I didn't see anybody sit in the lobby and have a drink as you would expect on holidays. Restaurants basically serve a variation of the same food. Don't be fooled by thinking the basket of bread and cheese and pate put on your table when you sit down is free. You will be charged for it. If you want to do many of the advertised activities such as the good boat trips you have to go to Albuferia or even further to get them which adds extra cost to the trips. The waves and currents are very strong and the sea bed is sharply slanted. The waterpark is only approx 20 mins away and it provides excellent value and is a great day out. Splash and Ride cost 16 euro for the day and food inside it was good value too. The slides are not too scary and it’s very clean. The Zoological is worth a day out but when we were there their slides were out of order. Take a pair of flip flops as you cannot go around in bare feet. The 4D cinema there was fantastic as is the diving and dolphin shows.
