Port El Kantaoui
Port el Kantaoui was built in the 1970s and was sympathetically designed to reflect the Arabic architecture and themes of traditional towns. Holidays in Port el Kantaoui have a friendly and laid-back feel and will provide visitors with all the benefits of a Tunisian town, but with a modern twist.
There is a selection of sandy beaches that provide year-round sunbathing and watersports.
Port el Kantaoui’s sparkling marina area plays host to a selection of stylish bars and restaurants. While in the vicinity of the marina, visitors should avail of a trip on a glass-bottomed boat or catamaran.
Outside of the purpose-built resort, there is plenty for sightseers to take in. The surrounding areas are steeped in history. Evidence of Roman occupancy can be seen here and genuine Arabic life and architecture can be found in Hammamet and Sousse.
Based in a tranquil position, the resort gives off both a contemporary and traditional Tunisian feel – albeit man-made.
